“I Have a Dream” – Houston (IHAD) needs great volunteers to work with the youth in our organization and that means….YOU! IHAD helps low-income, inner city youth stay in school, graduate high school and attend college or vocational school through mentoring and other avenues.
There are many ways in which YOU can make a difference by donating your time. Opportunities range from as little as 1 hour a year to 1 hour a week.
• Become a Mentor to a disadvantaged youth who really needs a positive role model! • Get involved in other direct and indirect ways
If you would like to learn more, contact Julie @ 713-523-7326 or email her: Volunteer@ihad-houston.org – you’ll be glad you did!
Be a mentor, change a life.
You are required to first attend a "Show and Tell" information session to give you a better idea for our organization and our opportunities to help.
Second, to work directly with our Dreamers, we require a 4-hr training that takes place on Saturdays, once a month, from 9am-1pm.
