Beacon Hill at Eastgate provides housing and health care services to older adults who choose to meet their ongoing physical, social, and spiritual needs in a Christian family environment.
Description:
Beacon Hill at Eastgate is a retirement home in Grand Rapids. We have three different kinds of care: Health Care Center, Assisted Living, and Independent Living. We use volunteers to provide services to our residents that enhance their quality of life. We try to create a family atmosphere in our facility while respecting the resident's rights to dignity and privacy, and to maintain self worth.
History:
Beacon Hill at Eastgate was formerly Michigan Christian Home. We opened in the 1950's and were sponsored by the Baptist Church. We are in the process of upgrading our facility and will be building apartments on the former sight of Metro Hospital.

We are located on Boston St. between Breton Rd. and Plymouth on the South East Side of Grand Rapids. We are located next door to where Metro Hospital was located.
