Arbor Circle's Mission is to promote healthy development by providing quality mental health, substance abuse, prevention and family development services in a caring partnership with our diverse community.
Description:
With an emphasis on prevention and early intervention, services are offered to families of infants and toddlers with special needs. Multiple programs (including but not limited to the Neighborhood Drop-in Center, Child Care Consultation Project, North County Parenting, Parent Aide, Mission Inn and Sparta Teen Parenting) work to ensure healthy development by providing support in the early parenting years, promoting positive relationships, helping families with children affected by HIV, AIDS, and/or substance abuse, building on family strengths and promoting skills to avoid risks of abuse and neglect. Services are offered in the home, agency setting or at comprehensive development centers. Offerings include assessments, counseling group support or matches with volunteer parent aides or mentors.
