Position title: Board Connections Position
Description: A chapter’s VLI Committee is responsible, along with the Executive Director
and members of the chapter’s Board, for ensuring that the chapter's
needs for volunteers are met each year.
Your Role as VLI Committee Member:
√ Provide guidance to and participate in the chapter's volunteer leadership recruitment
efforts.
√ Share in and communicate to others the vision of future revenue growth for the chapter
and the CF Foundation, and the broadening of research efforts that results.
√ Champion the chapter's volunteer recruitment and fundraising activities to others.
Your Responsibilities:
√ Recruit, with the other VLI Committee members and the VLIC Chair at least 10 “new”
volunteers.
√ Assist in the identification and recruitment of new volunteers to fill any volunteer
vacancies in the chapter.
√ Make personal presentations about volunteer opportunities available within the chapter
√ Assist with the orientation of new volunteers.
√ Assist with recommendations for award recipients as part of the chapter’s recognition
program.
