The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

Description:
DISASTER SERVICES:
The American Red Cross disaster relief focuses on meeting people's immediate emergency disaster caused-needs. The American Red Cross will provide measurable ways to help, including: safe shelter, food, clothing, health and mental health services. All assistance is based on verified disaster caused-needs. American Red Cross disaster relief services are free, provided through donations through the American people.

HEALTH & SAFETY:
For nearly a century, the American Red Cross has prepared people to save lives through Health & Safety education & training. Classes are taught in: CPR (AED), Babysitting First Aid, Swimming, and Life Guarding.

SERVICE to ARMED FORCES (SAF):
Members of the Armed Forces turn to the American Red Cross every day for neutral and impartial assistance, independent verification of an emergency situation, and around the clock, emergency communication with families.

BLOOD SERVICES:
The American Red Cross has been a primary supplier of lifesaving blood products in the United States for over 50yrs, and collects nearly half of the nations bloods supply.
