Root-Pike WIN's mission is to protect, restore, and sustain the ecosystem in the watersheds through the funding and facilitation of a regional network of locally initiated projects.

Description:
Root-Pike WIN connects people with ideas to improve our watersheds with the resources they need to turn their ideas into action. Root-Pike WIN reviews grant applications and awards grants twice a year in April and November. Each of WIN's four Task Groups (Land-use and Protection, Communication and Education, Agricultural and Urban Pollution Prevention, and Recreation and Aquatic Habitat) focus on a specific watershed issue. Project evaluation includes determining if the project has considered criteria that apply to both WIN and their own Task Group.
