Eastern Market - a program of the East King Improvement District - is looking for volunteers to help on market days: Saturdays from 7 - 9 AM and/or 2 - 3 PM; Wednesdays from 3 - 8 PM. Volunteers would help set up the open air market, assist vendors in setting up their stands, and help with tear-down. Eastern Market's goals are to increase access to fresh foods in Lancaster City, particularly the southeast neighborhoods of the city. Vendors are local farmers, prepared food vendors and artists.
