EWRC provides compassionate care to sick, injured, and orphaned wild birds and mammals for the purposes of release and education.

Vision is that no wild animal in need of care will be turned away from our facility.

Description:
Small nonprofit located in rural El Paso County. Licensed rehabilitators provide hands-on care to all wild and migratory birds, including birds of prey and eagles, for release back to the wild. All-volunteer organization. Community outreach and wildlife/environmental education. We serve the entire State of Colorado.

History:
Formed in May 2002 by rehabilitators who felt we could provide better care and services by pooling resources and experience. Moved from Lakewood to Ellicott for space to do our work. Small organization continues to grow each year as demands for services increases.
