Vision:
To promote health, wealth and unity in the community.

Mission:
To maximize the potential for future growth both spiritually and naturally.

Description:
We thrive to enhance the lives of citizens in our community by meeting their basic needs (food, clothing and utilities). We engage the youth to get involved in their community by volunteering and organizing events to bring a positive change. Youth are important to our mission. We work closing with the Royal Oak Township Recreation Dept. and provide coaches for programs such as volleyball and basketball. Our Director, Yvette Harper, is a part of the steering committee for the Community Action Movement which promote healthy living and positive programs for the community.

We are the hub for Angel Food Ministries for the Detroit area. We service approx. 30 organizations by providing food to them for their community. This ministry offers $75 worth of food for only $30 payment with cash, money order of food stamps. Every Saturday, we take orders for Angel Food Ministries. The food is distributed the last Saturday of each month.

History:
We were established in September of 2004 as a non-profit organization for outreach efforts for Zion International Ministries. Initially, we offered free food through our food pantry. Secondly, we added a clothing pantry to address the obvious needs of the community. Since 2005 we have worked closely with the municipal offices of Royal Oak Township to help steer community activities and drive for a positive change through the Community Action Group. In 2006 we became the first Angel Food Ministries host site to service the Detroit area.
