Description:
AARP participates in local volunteerism and supports local charities. It maintains a presence in local politics. The local chapter provides a venue for seniors to meet, socialize and learn. The chapter meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (except July and August) at 2:00 p.m. at Munson Senior Center. For information call Sue Lundgren at 575-382-0733.

History:
The Las Cruces local chapter of AARP was formed 30 years ago. It's primary purpose is to further Senior interests in the community.
