Our mission is to assist families towards the highest level of self sufficiency possible through employment readiness workshps, adult education classes, child development programming and life skills instruction.

Description:
Family support services are offered at the Young Parent Support Center as well as the East side Day Resource Center (Homeless shelter)to include but not limited to Transportation, Adult education (day and evening), employment readiness, developmental childcare, life skills instruction, Service coordination, in home Intervention services, case management services and recreational outings. The program operates in two sites: Essex and Rosedale. The hours of operation are 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and Fridays are dedicated to new student enrollment and orientation.

History:
The Young Parent Support Center has been in it's essex location for over 15 years and assists an average of over 500 families per year.
