The primary mission of the Simi Valley Days event is to provide a vehicle for local non profit organizations and service groups to fundraise for their charitable causes while celebrating our community.

Description:
The Simi Valley Days Festival celebrates its 24th consecutive year in 2008.

Simi Valley Days provides the organizational and administrative services necessary to promote the fund raising venues and activities of the various groups. We cannot be successful without volunteers such as yourself.

Our organization is run solely by volunteers who work to provide a fund raising vehicle under the auspices of a community wide event for the service clubs, charitable organizations and non profit groups in Simi Valley.

History:
This event is the successor of the long-established community festival, Pioneer Days initiated in 1933. Like its predecessor, Simi Valley Days features a variety of events such as the Parade, 5/10K Run, Carnival rides, Merchant area, KowChip Bingo, Entertainment, and Old Fashioned Picnic, all arranged for the enjoyment of residents and visitors.
