RSVP of Macomb will engage persons age 55 or older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs and provide high quality experiences that will enrich the lives of volunteers.

Description:
RSVP is one of three National Senior Service Corps programs under the Corporation for National and Community Service. Catholic Services of Macomb serves as the local sponsor of RSVP in Macomb County. RSVP volunteers serve at over 50 locations throughout Macomb County, tutoring children, mentoring youth, handcrafting items for needy individuals and families, preserving history by interviewing local veterans for the National Veterans History Project, delivering meals, working on special projects for local agencies. History:
Catholic Services of Macomb was established in 1957. Services provided include Behavioral Health Services; Pregnancy, Parenting and Adoption Services; and Senior Services, including RSVP, the Senior Companion Program, and A Friend's House Adult Day Services. CSM has served as the local sponsor of RSVP since 1986.
