The primary mission of La Casa, Inc. will be focused on assisting battered women to increase their self-esteem and to become self sufficient. La Casa shall provide shelter, counseling, education on domestic violence and advocacy in a supportive environment. These services will be provided regardless of race, creed, sex, age, physical impairment, religion or sexual preferences.

Description:
La Casa, inc. offers emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children: Non-Resident counseling program, children's program, transitional housing program, men's program, South Valley outreach counseling program and outreach and education. We also provide civil legal services, specialized parenting education program and educational services program.

History:
La Casa, Inc, has been providing counseling and a safe place to stay for victims of domestic violence and their children since 1981.
