SABAH is an innovative, collaborative and fiscally prudent human service organization challenging Western New Yorkers with special needs and volunteer populations of WNY while increasing tolerance and collaboration in the local community. Description:
From Tuesday-Friday SABAH also hosts sessions from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm at the Riverside Skating Rink located at 2607 Niagara Street in Buffalo. During this time, challenged children are bussed to our facility from schools throughout Western New York to ice skate with the help of volunteers. Three, hour-long sessions are held daily from 9:30-11:30 on T/TH and 9:00-11:00 W/Fr. Volunteers are encouraged to attend more than one session a morning, but if they can only give one hour we are more than happy to have the help. We are also looking for help with our weekend and nightly skating programs, in addition to the Annual Ice Show at HSBC Arena in the Spring. History:
