Our MISSION is to make the life-changing wisdom of the Bible understandable and accessible to all.
Our VISION is to see people of all nations experiencing a personal relationship with Christ, growing to be more like Him, and serving in a local body of His family.

Description:
RBC Ministries is about helping people who in turn help others. We are men and women who believe in the strategic use of media to further the mission of Christ and His Church.
Currently, more than 300 people serve on our Grand Rapids-based team. Our international Ministries team is experiencing rapid growth and outreach through the work of our co-workers and volunteers around the globe.
Our goal is to be as aggressive as we can be in outreach while operating within the financial resources that are entrusted to us.
We also believe that the attitudes of Christ are a necessary companion to His teaching. We must demonstrate authentic love for both friends and enemies of the gospel, so that our efforts will ring true in the minds of those who hear our programs or read our materials.
We appreciate your interest in RBC and invite your inquiries.

History:
RBC FOUNDER M. R. De Haan was a family physician, who later in life became a pastor well known for his gravelly voice and impassioned Bible teaching. His commitment was to teach the Word of God with strong emphasis on the need for personal salvation.
So in 1938, from a small radio station in eastern Michigan, the Detroit Bible Class was born (soon renamed Radio Bible Class). Suddenly the physician was making spiritual house calls to hundreds of thousands of Scripture-hungry listeners.
Even though his rough voice made him an unlikely radio personality, an expanding circle of listeners soon recognized that the Doctor had something important to say. Dr. De Haan's reflections on the Scripture quickly became a source of biblical wisdom for many. In response to his teaching, an ever-growing number of listeners asked for transcripts of the broadcast for use as study materials.
From these roots, the Grand Rapids, Michigan-based team continues to build upon the foundation of Dr. De Haan's convictions and work. With commitment to biblical principles, RBC Ministries today offers teaching resources to millions worldwide.
Dr. De Haan began this ministry in his basement as a family operation. Today, the Lord has brought together a staff of over 300 men and women in our US headquarters. The ministry has international offices in 24 countries who distribute RBC materials and programs. Our signature publication, the daily devotional called "Our Daily Bread", is translated into more than 40 languages.
RBC Ministries changed its name from Radio Bible Class in 1994 to reflect the family of services we offer to friends worldwide.
