Join us for Flux, a music art and performance happening at the Rochester Art Center. This popular event features: DJs Scott Stulen and David Parisi along with monthly guest artists, contemporary art exhibitions, and food and drinks.

Volunteer opportunities for this event include: Door Attendant to check people in at admission; AND Gallery Attendant to watch the galleries, ensuring that guests do not bring in food or drink. Volunteers receive free admission when they sign up to cover a 2-3 hour shift.

AGE OF VOLUNTEER: 18 and older. COMMITMENT: 2-3 hours per month (one-time opportunities are available) DAY OF WEEK: flexible, Fridays and Saturdays. TIME OF DAY: flexible, 9:30 p.m. - 2 a.m.

From Highway 52: Take the Second Street SW exit, head east. Proceed on Second Street until it comes to a T intersection at Civic Center Drive. The Art Center is directly in front of you, accessible via the circle drive of the Mayo Civic Center. Parking Meters: Meters are enforced 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except major holidays. Meters are not enforced after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays or on Saturdays or Sundays. Free Parking: Park free in any city ramp on weekdays after 5:00 p.m. and until 1:00 a.m. and weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.. The Civic Center ramp is across from the Art Center accessible from First Avenue SE.
