work in a child development program with the children of the homeless families. Parents are engaged in job readiness and adult education activities while their children are supervised and cared for in the child development program at the east side homeless shelter.

Those with child abuse or mistreatment charges on their record need not apply. Any felony convictions also make one ineligible. Limited training is provided and background checks are required.
