  • who has at least basic computer skills
Prior Board Experience: No
Board Responsibilties: Recording Secretary--Takes minutes of meetings, writes them up and distributes to board before the next meeting, usually by email.
Corresponding Secretary/Membership--Make trips to the Bellam Blvd. post office to collect mail. Distribute to recipients, often at board meetings. Also receives membership applications and checks. Updates the member database. Reads email and forwards to pertinent board members.

Description: Want to get involved in making poetry come alive in your community? Marin Poetry Center seeks a recording secretary. Must attend meetings once a month and distribute minutes to all board members as well as providing input on organizational matters and casting your vote on various motions. You may also be called upon to help with projects as your time allows. You need not be a poet but will likely have an interest in poetry and literature. We welcome you to come and share your organizational talents with us.
