Beyond Hunger Board members are a diverse group. Each board member supports Beyond Hunger's goal of preventing and treating eating disorders while cultivating a sense of humor, having fun at Board and committee meetings, and working as part of a team and a member of the larger Marin community. |
| Ideal Candidate Profile: |
|
Our ideal candidate is someone who has passion about raising awareness about eating disorders and has time to work on projects. We welcome board members who have interest in fundraising and building partnerships in the community. We are looking for board members with experience in one or several of these areas: fundraising, finance, counseling, marketing, grantwriting, strategic planning, or computer technology. |

| Board Responsibilties: |

*Attend monthly two hour board meetings, usually on a Wednesday evening. *Commit approximately 8 hours per month outside of meetings to work on a specific committee or project. *Contribute a minimum of $300 per year either in direct donations or through fundraising. *Understand and be in alignment with the Beyond Hunger philosophy.
