Ideal Candidate Profile: Our ideal candidate is someone who has passion about raising awareness about eating disorders and has time to work on projects. We welcome board members who have interest in fundraising and building partnerships in the community. We are looking for board members with experience in one or several of these areas: fundraising, finance, counseling, marketing, grantwriting, strategic planning, or computer technology. Prior Board Experience: No Board Responsibilties: *Attend monthly two hour board meetings, usually on a Wednesday evening. *Commit approximately 8 hours per month outside of meetings to work on a specific committee or project. *Contribute a minimum of $300 per year either in direct donations or through fundraising. *Understand and be in alignment with the Beyond Hunger philosophy. We are looking for new board members with a range of interests including counseling/therapy, PR/marketing, fundraising, finance/accounting, strategic planning/organizational development, graphic design, computer technology, and outgoing individuals well connected to the Marin community. Requirements: We ask that board members attend a 2 hour meeting once a month, usually a Wednesday evening, and participate in 8 hours of committee work per month.
