 Pacific Diversified Services is a nonprofit agency serving developmentally disabled adults in Marin County. We help our clients maintain paid jobs in the community where they can be productive, make friends and live happily. We have a new client from Vietnam named Minh Tien, who is deaf and mute. Unfortunately, due to lack of schooling in Vietnam, he cannot read or write or communicate proficiently with any form of sign language. How ever, he is fully capable of learning sign language. For example, within minutes, he learned how to sign "bathroom". We need help tapping his potential. He is so bright, sweet and charming, and very good at making himself understood through gestures, facial expressions and pantomime.
