ArtWorks! is a non profit community arts center serving the residents and artists of Southeastern MA. We have a beautiful gallery space and interesting exhibits that change on a constant basis. There are many ways to get involved and your help also serves the community. All ages are welcome, classes and special events are available and the people who participate are interesting and lively. If you want to have a great hands on experience ArtWorks is the place to visit, to stay and to help.

ArtWorks is located in historic downtown New Bedford. The facility has art galleries, studios, ceramics workshop, teen programs and multipurpose classroom that serves all ages.We are open year round with changing exhibits and classes. Programs for teens and youth work to engage youth in the creative process.

History:
ArtWorks! was founded in 1993 to make artists and the arts into the revitalization of New Bedford. In 1998 ArtWorks! moved into a 130 year old building as part of efforts to contribute to the many improvements taking place in this historic city. ArtWorks is focused on building a strong creative economy, encouraging youth to develop creative skills and building sustainable programs that serve our community.
