The Children's Museum of Maine exists to inspire discovery and imagination through exploration and play. The Museum serves as an indispensable resource for families and educators, helping to create a broad community devoted to our children's development and learning.

Description:
The Children's Museum of Maine offers a wide variety of interactive exhibits and educational programming for children up to ten years of age.

History:
The Children's Museum was started by the Junior League in 1976. By 1980, the Museum was housed on Stevens Avenue on the Westbrook College campus. The Museum opened its doors to the general public at its current location in May of 1993.
