Holiday Gift Drive

[ Donate an item ]

Agency: Youth Alternatives/ Ingraham
Donation name: Holiday Gift Drive
Description: Thank you for helping to make the holidays brighter for children, families and adults in YA’s care. Below is a list of gifts requested by the individuals in our care. Gifts received will meet the needs of our children and families this holiday season. Any remaining gifts will be used for birthday presents throughout the year. We need the most gifts for children between the ages of 8 – 17, but will appreciate anything you are able to provide. Gift certificates were the most frequently requested item, and listed are a variety of the mentioned stores.

Youth Alternatives, a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1972, has built a continuum of care that serves families at all levels of need, from prevention to intensive interventions for child abuse and neglect, juvenile justice and children in need of services. Now that Youth Alternatives has merged with Ingraham, we offer are affecting change in the lives of over 10,000 Mainers.

Our clients include survivors of abuse and neglect, whether physical, emotional or sexual; parents in need of supports and education; children and youth at-risk for homelessness or criminal behavior; and/or families at-risk of having a child removed from their homes. We are grateful for your generosity during this holiday season.
