The Parent Resource Center is moving forward with a new adventure. We are in the midst of building a comprehensive Parenting Lending Library.
This library will include parenting topic books for all ages of children and parents, (bio, adoptive, gay and lesbian, single, divorcing, etc.).
Along with the adult focus books, we are also including books on special topics for parents to share with their chidlren (explaining death, a move to a new school, divorcing parents, bullying etc.).
As most of you know, books of this type are $15 or more per book, thus our need for support. Do you have any parenting topic books that are
collecting dust on your book case?
We are especially looking for, but not limited to, special needs books such as books on ADD, Autism, Aspergers, Downs Syndrome, Mental Retardation or Tourette's. Any and all are accepted and appreciated!
We do have an overwhelming amount of pregnancy and baby's first year type books. As many of us know, time to read becomes much more
limited after the 1st year!!!
