SITE

Once BRCA acquires a property or a conservation easement, the work is just beginning. Each year, volunteers spend hundreds of hours taking care of these properties to protect the ecological value of the conserved land and allow our members to enjoy it. Here are some of the work projects planned for 2008:
-Extending the existing French Mountain trail into a loop trail
-Removing the Japanese Knotweed on the Mount Phillip trailhead
-Cleaning up trash on the Sataloff property
-Removing Japanese Barberry and Norway Maple on a conservation easement
