Griefcase is dedicated to helping those who have experienced or are experiencing the loss of a loved one. Visitors can share their grief with others, benefit from the experiences of others, and find peace, comfort and a way forward as they rebuild their lives. Griefcase is for and about its visitors, who share a common purpose in resolving their grief in helping others through their experiences. You are invited to visit and participate in our mission of helping them in their time of greatest need.

History:
Griefcase is dedicated to and supports widows and individuals going through the grief process.

In May 2004, Linda Della Donna lost her husband, Edward Sclier. Della Donna needed to know that she was not alone and turned to the internet for support. Discovering little to assist her, at that time, Della Donna created www.griefcase.blogspot.com honoring famous widows of famous men throughout history.

In September 2007, Griefcase honored Karen Doty, hospice nurse, who for more than 35 years aided terminally ill individuals and their families, with "Walk With Karen" raising funds to further Griefcase's work. Doty and Della Donna first met and became fast friends when Edward Sclier lay dying of terminal cancer. Upon hearing the news of Doty's sudden death, Della Donna celebrated Karen Doty's life and created "Walk With Karen."

It was Della Donna's way of paying tribute to a woman who had given so much to so many for so long.

Thus, Griefcase, a nonprofit organization, was founded to help widows and children of widows, and individuals going through the grief process.

Today, Griefcase is a real website.

But Griefcase needs help.

Della Donna can no longer go it alone.

Della Donna writes free ebooks, free ezine articles, hosts a free t.v. cable show, interviews guests offering helpful tips to widows and all individuals suffering the loss of a loved one, and more.

You can learn more about Griefcase, the work it stives to do, and Linda Della Donna by Googling "Griefcase," and "Linda Della Donna," visiting www.griefcase.net, reading Della Donna's free ezine articles at www.ezinearticles.com.
