This project has two phases – Scanning pages into a file, then editing the file into a format that can be read easily. The kinds of materials that are being done are city directories, church records, obituary pages from newspapers, bible records. Scanning goes quickly, but the editing takes time to carefully clean up the image that was scanned. There are hundreds of books and materials that we are eager to have scanned and digitized. All training will be provided by library staff. This opportunity is sponsored by: Godfrey Memorial Library
