The American University of Kinshasa Foundation is an US 501(c)(3) Tax-exempt Non-profit based in Massachusetts. The vision aims at improving healthcare and higher education in Africa. It equally promotes the public awareness of cultural and academic exchange opportunities between Africa and the US for the mutual benefit of people in both regions.

Description:
The Foundation supports higher education in Africa, including "Universite Franco-Americaine de Kinshasa" in the congo. It promotes academic exchanges with US institutions and Africa. It promotes helthcare issues such as AIDS AND Malaria.

History:
The Cambidge-based Foundation was established in 1998 and became a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit in 1999. It is working to carry on its mission as specified above.
