Socialize and raise awareness for Starlight Starbright. We are seeking active, fun, social conscience volunteers for Starlight Starbright Children’s Young Professionals Committee. The members of this committee volunteer at family events, community fairs, and fundraisers. There are also opportunities to play a larger role in developing and implementing fundraising plans. Our efforts working together will make a difference for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Fundraising tasks include
- Assisting with finding sponsorships, attendees, and participants
- Collecting auction items for raffles and events
- Event planning and logistics
- Day-of staffing
Creative thinking, marketing experience, event/activity planning, community outreach, and research skills. Any or all of the above skills would be useful as a member, however if you are reading this opportunity you have the required skill that is the most successful asset to our mission: compassion.
