VNHC is a non profit home health and hospice care organization. The agency has provided quality home care to our community since 1908. Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive home-health, hospice and related services necessary to promote the well-being of all community residents, including those unable to pay.

Description:
VNHC currently serves over 2,000 patients annually, as well as thousands of their family members. We make over 20,000 home visits a year, 54% for hospice care and 46% for health care. Our Community Loan Closet makes available needed medical equipment free of charge to over 1,000 families each year and we manage a home like 6 bed residential facility known as Serenity House providing care to the terminally ill.

History:
Visiting Nurse & Hospice Care has served the Santa Barbara community since 1908 with home health care and since 1980 with hospice care as well. We are the largest home health provider in Santa Barbara.
