Through the generosity of professionals - attorneys, CPAs, consultants, fundraisers, managers and other professionals - who share their time, expertise and talent with the nonprofit community, NSC is able to provide trainings to help nonprofits do their good work better. Our volunteer trainers are experts in their subject area and have an interest in teaching others. They prepare and present professional-quality workshops to staff and volunteers of local nonprofits. NSC deals with all of the logistics of the training, including marketing, registration, copying materials, presentation technology, nametags... even the cookies.

Trainers must be experienced and trained in the subject they will teach and have strong presentation skills. If you are interested in becoming one of NSC's respected volunteer trainers, contact our Training Manager with your resume and ideas for the workshop you'd like to present. Potential trainers will be interviewed and NSC will review how their expertise may fit within the current curriculum planned.
