PROVIDENCE SPEECH AND HEARING CENTER’s mission is to provide the highest quality services available in the identification, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of speech, language and hearing disorders for persons of all ages.

Description:
We identify, diagnose, treat and work to prevent speech, language and hearing disorders.

History:
Providence was founded in 1965 by Speech-Pathologist Margaret Anne Inman, Ph.D. What began in a single room in Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) has grown over the past 40 years to become one of the largest clinics of its type in America. It is Margaret Anne’s vision to ensure that all people who require speech, language or hearing services receive the best possible care, regardless of their ability to pay. As one of the only speech and hearing centers in Orange County that is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), Providence is a recognized leader in its field. We currently provide services to over 18,000 people each year.
