Distribute surplus food to needy families
Description:
Food is collected from participating restaurants, hospitals, schools, stores, etc and taken to Bethel Lutheran Church. It is then sorted and distributed to families who come to pick it up three days a week, MWF, 5:00 to 6:30 pm. This is not an eat-in facility - food is taken home and reheated.
History:
CFR has been operating for about ten years with no significant changes.
