Our mission and purpose of Hope Lodge is to provide a temporary home-like residence without charge to the cancer patient. Hope Lodge facilitates the cancer treatment process by providing an emotional supportive environment, while reducing the financial burden of necessary multiple night stays

Hope Lodge is a home-away-from home for cancer patients who are taking chemo, radiation or both treatments. American Cancer Society offers this free of charge. The Lodge is staffed by four full time persons,three part-time people and approximately 30 volunteer people who help with the cleaning, laundry, mailings, office work and receptionist duties

History:
Hope Lodge was opened in May 1999. It is close to the Mayo Clinic. We have access to the subway, plus a shuttle bus that will allow people to get to the Mayo Clinic easily.
