Description:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands provides two mentoring programs to the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Community-Based Mentoring Program seeks adult volunteers to provide one-to-one friendships to children ages 7-15. School-Based Mentoring Program seeks high school students to mentor an elementary school child one hour, once a week.
History:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States. We have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters serves children, ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country - including yours. Serving over 20,000 metro area children for over 40 years.
