The Mission of the Visiting Nurse Association is to foster the dignity and well being of the residents of our community by delivering the highest quality home and community based health care services that provide peace of mind, quality of life, and independence.
History:
The VNA was founded by Anna Millard Rogers in 1896. She said, "the sick and poor...always my people." This committment has guided the VNA for over a hundred years of service to the sick, poor, elderly, new mothers and babies, outbreaks of TB, polio and the flu, worksite wellness programs, school nursing and so much more.
