Position title: Board Member- Family Law CASA
Description: Looking for individuals with contacts outside the legal profession with a passion for ensuring low income marginalized children "have a voice in court." We are seeking those with contacts to cultivate for corporate support and/or individual donors. We're especiallly seeking those in marketing, banking, financial,insurance sectors.

Experience being on working committees and able to make own financial contribution throughout the year.
Type of board position: Board of Directors
The process for selecting or nominating members: Send resume. Candidate will meet with Governance Chair, and Board President.
Recommendation will be brought to the board for consideration and vote.
The organization provides a formal orientation to new members: Yes
Additional information about this position: We've very organized and a fundraising board. Board meetings every other month, committee meetings monthly. Excellent communication among each other and staff. Hands-on. Expected to join at least one committee, make personal donations and attend/support fundraising events, and maximize contacts and relationshps for CASA's benefit. We also have a lot of fun working together.
