Board Connections Position |
| Description: |
|
Volunteers for Outdoor Washington (VOW) trains our volunteers to be stewards of the environment. We partner with land managers to build trail, restore habitat, and maintain Washington State's rich heritage. VOW is looking for a committed board member interested in leading the charge on fund raising activities. Duties would include developing donor relationships, strategy, mailings, appeals, and events. This includes working with the board and ED to develop a short-term strategy for approaching new and existing donors and a long-term strategy of building VOW financial sustainability. Ideally we are looking for someone with extensive donor experience. Trail building skills are not required. Our board is a vibrant group of individuals committed to building and maintaining trails throughout Washington State. Board meetings take place once a month and last for two hours. For more information on VOW check out our website at www.trailvolunteers.org or call us at (206)517-3019. Join us and make a difference in the outdoor community!
