Position title: Board Connections Position
Description: Kirkland Arts Center board seeks several members who will bring diverse perspectives to the board of this fun, vibrant community visual arts school and contemporary art gallery. Share your enthusiasm as an ambassador for the Kirkland Arts Center; promote participation in programs and involvement (volunteer and giving) to your personal sphere of influence. Particular areas of expertise we are looking for to strengthen the board – legal (contracts/h.r.), facilities (care of historic building), pr/marketing, and government relations. Our board is committed to work together, employing best practices and clear strategy to fulfill our vision and mission.
Type of board position: Board of Directors
The process for selecting or nominating members: Board candidates meet with the Board leadership and Executive Director. Candidates may wish to attend a Board meeting as well. Candidates are then nominated to the Board.
