Description:
The Church of the Intercession is an Episcopal Church located at 1417 Church Street in Stevens Point. We offer regular worship service, Bible study, Christian formation classes, rector's forum, and fellowship in a Christian setting. We also serve our community in a variety of charitable causes.

History:
Church of the Intercession is more than 150 years old and is the oldest church in Stevens Point. It was founded by Albert Ellis. We have continued in this community and have served Stevens Point with funding the first hospital room, first school, a community center and bowling alley (no longer in existence). We are a growing congregation of people who believe in the church's role in the lives of people in our community.
