Portage County is part of the Mushkodany District within the Boy Scouts of America. There are numerous volunteer opportunities within the district. You can become a Den Leader or Scoutmaster or serve on a unit committee. You can also get involved at the District level as a commissioner or a member of the District Committee. Training is offered for all new volunteers who register with the Boy Scouts of America.
