Family Financial Counselor Volunteers are representatives of UW-Extension Cooperative Extension who have agreed to complete Family Financial Counselor Volunteer Training and provide one on one counseling education for individuals/families who are experiencing financial difficulties. Ability to work with individuals in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good listening skills. Sensitivity to and respect for individual differences.
