Is "busy work" your thing? Do you like variety in your tasks? As the support help to the library's program coordinator tasks will include preparing craft materials and helping children with crafts during programs, distributing program fliers to the community, copying, folding or collating promotional material, decorating bulletin boards, and window painting among others. While we don't need master level art skills, this position does require crafting and artistic abilities. Some of the tasks are repetitive so you'll need patience and the ability to work independently from a task list. Creativity and imagination are welcomed qualities. You will need to enjoy working with people of all ages as you will be called upon to help with a variety of programs. The ability to communicate well with children is important. Your own transportation is important, as we will sometimes need you to deliver fliers to various locations. This opportunity is sponsored by: Racine Public Library
