Are you a good listener and interested in helping people in crisis? HopeLine is looking for caring, non-judgmental volunteers, who are at least 18 years old, to answer its 24-hour crisis hotline. Volunteers provide confidential listening services, crisis/suicide intervention, and information referrals to the community. Volunteers receive free training in crisis intervention and active listening. Training classes start October 18th Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00pm-9:00pm through November 20th.
