Description:
Our agency has three ministries:
- Bath Soup Kitchen- MWF 11:00-12:00
- Bath Food Pantry-TUES. 6pm-8pm/Fri. 1pm-3pm
- Bath Clothing Exchange 6pm-8pm/Fri. 1pm-3pm
Serving the towns of: Bath, Arrowic, Woolwich, Georgetown, Five Islands, West Bath, Phippsburg, Sebasco, and West Point.
From these towns we serve over 2,000 hot meals, 475 pantry clients, and clothe over 350.
No salaries are paid. We are a totally volunteer Faith Based group. Volunteers need not attend or belong to a church.
History:
Four churches started a small pantry in 1986 which grew to eleven churches by 1988 when the soup kitchen was started. About the same time one of these members started a clothing closet in an upstairs four room brick schoolhouse which later became the third part of our ministry.
