If you wish to donate an item to a non-profit organization in our community please click below and enter the item you would like to donate.  You may also check the Agency listing and contact the agency that wants a particular item. Please note that this is NOT for cash donations. Please be sure that any donations you offer are in good working order.

From time to time we will list a special request for items especially at holiday times and in emergency situations.  These will have a special heading at the top of the list of categories. Please click on that category when entering your donation.

Points to Remember:

1. When making a donation you please check the category listing (item 7) before you name your item so that it will be more easily located by interested agencies. 
2. Donated items are only visible to approved, registered agencies on this site and your personal information is only available to these agencies and not the general public or non-registered agencies.
3. In the section for Emergency Items it is especially important to be as specific as possible. Expect that you will be contacted by an agency representative concerning its interest in the items.
4. You will be asked to register as a volunteer and to complete a description of your donation. If you have a photo of the item please download it onto the site. An interested agency will contact you if they would like to see the object or someone from the United Way of Mid Coast Maine will contact you.
5. When an item has been claimed please go back and take it off the listing.
