We need Cooks and Cook's Helpers as well as dining room workers. Often we have items donated that need processing. All jobs that need doing are the same as need to be done in your kitchen. If you enjoy serving people in need we can use you. Our clients are served as if they were guests in your home. No serving lines. There are two or three cold drinks and hot coffee or tea, and a full meal and dessert. On the way out there are many items that can be taken home to help the food security on the days we are not open. We have a large Thanksgiving Dinner the Wednesday before and a Christmas Party and dinner with presents for everyone. Last year there were over 300 in attendance.
There are trainings so that each volunteer feels comfortable. We use each one's talents and abilities. If you have some sort of limitations we do our best to accommodate.
