The Food Bank needs ongoing help inspecting, sorting, preparing pre-boxed non-perishable items, and moving food as it is brought into our agency. All volunteers must work well with people from various backgrounds. You must be able to lift at least 25 pounds (Some volunteers may sort and pack while others lift depending on availability). You should have a passion for helping others, and an understanding to those in our community that due to life circumstances need help with meeting their basic needs. No formal training is needed before starting. This opportunity is sponsored by: Wiscasset Food Pantry
